For weeks now you've bitched about the show. There were some bits of the finale that could of been handled better, but geeze. My point is, you're just one of the many idiots out there who think they could do better at writing tv/films ect. I'm glad I don't have to be annoyed by you and your site anymore. although you'll probably bitch about 'the plan' and 'caprica'. I watched and enjoyed the first hour or so, but then when they hit Earth and every one just kinda started wandering off (no need for protection in numbers I'm guessing... or other people who can at least speak your language), I started to lose a lot of patience. The final scene with Laura and Adama was well done although I don't understand why he'd want to forever leave his son... not after all the hard work just getting to where they could stand in the same room together. The last of Laura and Bill kept me in front of the TV. <BR/><BR/>Then... there is the whole Kara mess. "Oh... yeah... by the way I'm running out on ya too... again!" Am I the only person who watched the final scene with Kara and Lee and got the feeling that Katee and Jamie weren't really buying into it? "Sigh... lets just say our lines and get the frak out of here."<BR/><BR/>When I started watching this show I was jazzed to the max. Heck.. I even got my (then) 75 year old mother hooked on it. But please make sure to fact-check yourself too. Some of the "unexplained" inconsistencies you point out in this review were, in fact, explained. Just gets in the way of your larger points about the show loosing direction in 4 & 4.5 most of which I think are spot on. That said, given the corner Moore et al had painted themselves into, I believe this finale was as good as we could possibly have hoped for. I'm pleased to have been a fan and looking forward to the next sci fi series done as well.
